How we handle your details.

Short version: we collect what you type into the enquiry form, we use it to reply to you, and we don’t sell it, share it for marketing, or track you around the web.

What we collect

Enquiry form: your name, email address, business name if you give it, which service you’re asking about, and your message.
Server logs: our hosting provider records the pages requested, the time, your browser type and an IP address, as every web host does, to keep the site running and secure.

That’s it. There are no analytics tags, advertising pixels or tracking cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to you.
To arrange a call, prepare a scope or send a quote if the conversation goes further.
To keep a record of what we discussed, so you don’t have to repeat yourself.

We don’t add you to a mailing list. If we ever start one, joining it will be a separate, clearly labelled choice.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is sent from this website straight to our business mailbox, which is hosted by Google Workspace.
The site is hosted on Vercel. Their servers may be located outside Australia.
On the enquiry page, Vercel’s bot protection checks technical details about your browser to tell people from spam bots. It isn’t used for advertising or to follow you to other sites.
We don’t sell your details, and we don’t give them to anyone else except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t lead to work are deleted within twelve months. If you become a client, your details form part of the project record and are kept for as long as needed for that work and any legal or tax obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Leave passwords and private client information out of your enquiry. If you send something by mistake, tell us and we’ll delete it.

Changes

If we change how we handle your details, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. We won’t change what we do with details you’ve already given us without telling you first.
